Maybe I'll Learn

by Jennifer Dziak   Jul 25, 2007

I used to swing at everything,
Now I dont swing at all.
Maybe someday I'll learn
to closely watch the ball.

I used to laugh at everything
Now I'm not sure how
Maybe someday I'll realize
Life has its ups, and downs.

I used to cry at everything
Now I'm just so hollow
Maybe someday I'll find
The path I'm meant to follow

I used to scream at everything
Now my voice is gone
Maybe someday I'll learn
To hear nature's song

I used to care for everyone
Now I'm distant and numb
Maybe someday I'll realize
Not to be so dumb

I used to swing and everything
Now I hardly swing at all
Maybe someday I'll learn
To closely watch the ball.
