Waking from this dream

Waking from this dream to see life as it truly can be
is one of the things that continues to haunt me
as I look around and see this image we call reality
it hits me in the face so hard it brings me to my knees

the ground is something, something I can feel
but as i keep looking i wonder if its real
all these things that bother threaten to engulf me
really all they do is finally set me free

As the room fades clearly into view
I sit up and wonder what to do
Was it really a dream that i just woke up from
or has the dreaming only just begun

Waking from this dream is that the true dream
ill let you decide..

    I think it's cool. It makes me think of questioning reality. :) Kind of like my Thoughts of the Mindless poem but in a different way. I'll give it a four because I bet you can do better.

    I think this is a good poem. I guess it's a poet thing to have reality and dreams mix or maybe it's just having the mind of a dreamer. Either way I know where you're coming from and I liked it.
