Its too late to say goodbye

why dose it take so long to say goodbye.
a word so easy and yet so hard.
why cant we say goodbye easy and mean it to worlds end.
can we say goodbye easy or is it impossible?

    Its very hard to say goodbye..My brother was killed by a drunk driver ( 9-21-02) and til this day i cry for him 5/5
