Rainy Sunday Morning

by Sapphire   Aug 1, 2007

One rainy Sunday morning, I took in the stillness of his body
The warmth of his breath gave warmth to me
His body intertwined along with mine
His skin is of honey and velvet
One skin complementing the other
His arm long and strong, provided the toughness of his character
Yet his soft, sweet lips show his gentleness
In my mind he is perfection
Faults and flaws
Yet unblemished and untainted
A combination of masterful and blunder
The S on his chest stand for more than just Superman
But also for spotless, stainless, sublime
His rough hands show years of struggle and pain
Though his touch gives tenderness and pleasure
His eyes give way to a new world
To live in would mean to be free
His smile is exquisite, entrancing and delectable
His heart is authentic, unadulterated, undiluted
In rhythm with mine makes a song that only we can hear and dance to
Along with the rhythm of the rain on a rainy Sunday morning.
