Jack Regan's Reasons

by Dwite Fry   Aug 2, 2007

The snouts have come up empty
The fifth floor's patience is wearing thin
Theres 'round the clock surveillance
Pull Boyd and bring him in
Twelve hours without a brief
And not a sodding word
Three nights without sleep
And five without a bird

Jack Regan's methods may be dodgy
But Jack Regan's reasons are sound

We haven't got a warrant
Or anything to go on
She should get a bleeding Oscar
If she's putting a show on
The Draftsman can't be located
The whole firm's gone to ground
They've had us returning bog rolls
When they've nicked half a million pound

Jack Regan's methods may be dodgy
But Jack Regan's reasons are sound

The Wireman's cocked it up
The whole job's down the spout
Out pour The Sweeney
And give a kicking out
Jack nearly had him cornered
But lost him in the commotion
A promise of a shag
But no chance of promotion

Jack Regan's methods may be dodgy
But Jack Regan's reasons are sound
