Yes, the world can be mean and the world can be tough,

Yes, life can be hard, and the road can be rough,

Of course there will always be times that are emotionally trying,

And of course there will always be times where you'll find yourself crying,

Your gonna find yourself in situations that seem unfair,

You may go through so many trials that you lose motivation to care,

These are the moments in life you must keep faith and remain optimistic,

The moments you must press on and don't make decisions that are life alteringly drastic,

These are the trials that the deepest levels of faith are reserved for,

These are the times you must pick yourself up and carry on in honor of your savior,

You must strive as much as possible to accept the world and learn to cope,

Don't ever forget that at the end of even the darkest hallway is a flicker of hope.
