Childs view

by nina   Aug 5, 2007

Seeing a reflection
ugly
worn
the perfection
craved
has meaning
in the mind

if theirs nothing
no one to care
why is she their
loud
clear

features hollow
years of abuse
cocaine and tobacco
swallow the air
chocking life

renew
eyes
blue as sky
become
wise,
alive

let it grow
warming
familiar
outlined
in ink
a story
of the old.

-my view on my mothers life and pain.
