Anger is a Bad Advisor

by Andrew Morton   Aug 5, 2007

Hell hath no fury
the hunger for pain
building the envy
fuming the rage

the decisions made
in pure arrogance
resentment that lays
in furious stance

burning in emotion
everything in a haze
the irate thoughts
you think for days

fighting the wrath
of the madness within
aggravates the soul
forgeting the mortal sin

screaming in vain
still living in angst
but scarred by guilt
from the feeling of rage

the fire is put out
but the sparks seem to linger
thoughts seem to shout
anger is a bad advisor
