You Showed Me

You opened up my eyes and really helped me see
everything I ignored, the beauty in front on me
You told me I was worth more, than what I had came to accept
you helped me to put past all of my regrets
You gave me hope and inspiration and held me by my hand
and walked with me on my journey and made me understand
that life is very precious and were only given one
so we must enjoy our precious years, for tomorrow may be no sun
