Daddy's Lil girl
used to be so sweet
she always was a good little girl
never misbehaved.
two years went by,
and wow has she changed
her 8th grade year was the year and she's to blame.
they believe it was the group she was in,
juvenile delinquents, they're up to no good,
first it was the lies, then it was the sneaking around,
then a year later it was the drugs.
daddy's Lil girl,
isn't so sweet anymore,
she hates the world
doesn't like anyone.
she's failing school
she doesn't do anything right
she even tries to take her own life.
a month after her attempt,
she started realizing what she wanted,
she wanted to be free, and happy
she found love for the first time in her life.
daddy's Lil girl
is getting back on track
she been sober since last October.
she doesn't hate the world around her,
still really doesn't like many people.
daddy's Lil girl
is the Lil girl her daddy remembers,
but now he's retired and leaving her behind to move farther away.
she knows its for the best but she doesn't want him to go.
but she'll always be daddy's Lil girl now and forever.
***this poem is about me...I'm daddy's Lil girl, but as in my poem states, i changed A LOT. i started sneaking around and then i popped pills and then started other things...then i got hurt bad by and ex and overdosed but after i got outa the hospital i realized a lot more and found REAL Love and happiness...my dad just retired from being a cop so he's moving away and leaving me w/ my ma. not all that bad but I'm gonna miss him!
