Gone without a goodbye

I only knew you since the first day of school
On the playground in kindergarten
Back then i thought you were just nice
But now that your gone i no that i loved you

I may only be a teenager
But i no how fast cancer can strike
It took away my grandmother and mother
And now it took the love of my life

You understood me more than anyone
You knew the pain that i had been through
You were the one i went to with my problems
It was you that keep me together

Now that your gone all seems lost
I guess that happens when any friend is lost
But it hurts more when you never get to say
The one thing you really wanted too

Dedicated to my best friend in the world who died from lung cancer...may she rest in piece...i just want her to no that i love her with all my heart, and i really wish i would have told her that sooner...

    5/5 such a gut wrenching piece... i hate to say well done. because of the pain and feelings i feel flowing througout this poem.. i feel for your loss.. i too have lost a love of my life... my poor son maliki.. not to cancer.. but to his father to beat me while i was pregnant and caused a misscarrage.. anyway please do check my poems... we must keep liveing.. stay strong Alexander.. she is in peace now...

    Omg thats so sad i wanna cry now (too late) it must be really hard for you to have lost your best friend i dont know how it feels like i bet its the worst feeling ever im so srry
