Fade & Erase

Do you know who I am?
Could you recognize my face?
Would you remember who I was
If I left without a trace?
Today I fade to black
As I'm erased from memory
All I wanted was to fit in
I wanted someone to remember me
But all of that has disappeared
I'm part of the background once again
My fears have taken over me
As my body begins to blend
And as I fade into the distance
My name no longer exists
All emotions are released
As the slash grows big on my wrist
