My disbelief

Friends are for life,
love would never keep anyone apart,
can't believe that I let myself
be fooled in such shits & craps.
Why pleasure is such an infectious thing,
why is everyone laughing
in a time when I'm giving in
to a darkness were I'd lock myself in.
I won't let myself unleash
from that cage made for my disbelief,
not until i feel the heavy silence again
feel the warm perfume of the soft air.
Until time stops speeding
like a bright light,
until the time when i finally win the fight,
fight away my childish fears
& win back my pleasant dreams.
only that will unlock my cage
& sent me free,
will make me realize
where true meaning lies,
even in looking in some empty eyes
maybe then I'll start to believe
that friendship & love mean
everything to me.
