Why?

by EMILIE   Aug 10, 2007

Sadness immerses my soul
Gathers together then it takes hold
My lungs first so I cannot breath
My heart begins to feel its last beat

Why is it clinging on?
Like old bread it has molded on
Let go of me I beg and plead
This pain is suffocating me

I beat the door for help once more
The bell has been rung
And my last songs been sung

This virus has engulfed my being
My corpse has this smell
It's now rotting
All alone I sit and die

Why has no one come to say goodbye?
