Rules of Attraction

by Rebekka   Aug 11, 2007

I never learnt the rules of attraction

What to say and how to please

But I found you behind the couch

Like that missing pair of keys

I never knew to give my heart away

Be one of two and call you mine

It's something on my list to do

But I never found the time

I never learn the art of seduction

Or how to laugh at stupid jokes

And I thought asking for a number

Was something for the blokes

I'll never be that girl

Who lies to keep you happy

Or sits by the phone for hours

Says he'll call just wait and see

I'm a girl for beer with the boys

And pub songs sung off key

And if you ever want to stand a chance

Push me up against a wall and kiss me
