Dearest Heart: Part 8

I'll put my Author's Note up here this time since it explains a lot: I am so sorry it has taken me so long to continue this series, I have been very busy and not had a lot of time to actually sit down and write a poem. A lot has happened since the last time I wrote and that will probably be reflected in the continuation of the series. I do not plan of stopping it any time soon so no worries. They still have a lot of troubles ahead of them the Heart and Mind. Ok, for future reference. She/Her-The person who contains the Heart and Mind Him/He- The person She loved. I have capitalized them because they are their names ~which are capitalized~ I thought I would clear that up before I get more comments saying they shouldn't be capitalized. Don't worry, they should be. Also, one other thing, the Heart and the Mind have their own opinions which are not necessarily true. I will clear up one other thing as well, I personally believe like in this poem that the Heart and Mind are two separate beings that for the most part work together, but often times they fight, usually when the Heart is in love, which just creates confusion in the person who carries the Heart and Mind. Hence my poems being written like they are. Now there will also be another new character coming into play here and new things coming out about the past. Try and figure it out and if people are still confused I'll explain it in the next part. Oh and whoever said that I hit the emotions on the head from experience, you are correct. Okay, now after this extremely long Author's Note, here goes nothing. ^_^

Dearest Mind,

YOU are the recovery?! HA! I doubt it. All you ever do or say is he wasn't important enough to worry about. If he did these things to you then he isn't worth your time or energy. How do you think that helps??! Guess what, it doesn't. I don't know why you insist on repeating these things. This only makes Her feel bad for still caring about Him! You know He cheated on Her!! You know it was Her first relationship! Your trivial sayings of any man who makes you cry isn't worth your tears don't help because they only make Her feel worse for still caring and for still hurting. She can't let go of these feelings while He's still a prominent figure in Her life and while things she didn't know are still coming out. While Girl is still around how is She going to be able to forgive and forget? Think again. You are her Mind and you know almost nothing about her! So why don't you just leave and let me handle it like usual!!

Just one more quick thing. I want to thank you guys who have stuck through with the poem so much because without you it's just words on a screen. Thank you
