I Throw/I Wipe That

by Makenzie   Aug 13, 2007

I throw
Those red high heels
Those
Red high heels that make my legs look sky high

I throw
My light blue skirt
That
Light blue skirt shows off my eyes

I throw
That white shirt
That
Makes my boobs look larger

I throw
The red lacy thong
That
Red lacy thong that makes me feel glamorous and sexy

I Throw
The red lacy pull up bra
That
Red lacy pull up bra makes me look as if I have more

I Throw
The sparkle fake jewelry
That
Sparkle fake jewelry causes me to feel elegant

I wipe
The red lipstick
That
Red lip stick makes my lips plumper

I wipe
The pink blush
That
Pink blush makes me feel less pale

I wipe
The mascara
That
Mascara that makes my eyelashes look darker and longer

I wipe
The eye shadow
That
Eye shadow that coordinates with my out fit

I throw the pins that hold up my hair
Those
Pins that hold up my hair make my face look longer

I stand
Before a mirror completely and utterly naked

I see
A normal girl without her glitz

I feel
Bland, meek, with a lack of confidence

The irony is that even with all that extra effort
He still did not pick me in the end
Maybe all he wanted was a normal girl
One who wasn't fake
Maybe he only wanted the raw image.
