I Aint Perfect

Depression drags you down into a black hole
On your mind and spirit it takes it toll
To be rid of it and fight it you try
A girl with promise why oh why

Never just content with your life
Feeling as if who you are is being slashed by a knife
Restless and bored are all that is left of you
To your name many ask who

Your life is a blank canvas very white
Your world closes in on you all around you very tight
This vivacious exterior is what people see
This unhappiness for life is your fee

You can't help it at all
From a carefree and bright world you fall
Genetics gave you this inner sickness
If only you could love more and hate less

What you see is not what you get
Destiny seeming life a table set
Wait you see some light
It's the people around you that make the bright

Suicide without them would surely be done
You see the moon but you still see the sun
Friends and family to you they maintain
Their love never seeming to wain

Despite the cruelty life seemes to shovel on you
Never shall life end the flame on them they shall not do
So get up off that couch and see the outside
And those people that you confide

For they deserve to see some love
This scene so superficial like a dove
So much out there for you to spy
You would stay the same why oh why
