School's Out (Start to Cry)

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Aug 13, 2007

Finally over,
It came so fast,
The end of the school year,
The end of our last.
Mascara drips down my face,
I cannot stop the tears,
A sad song, a comforting hand,
How I wish I could keep them here.
My friends of many years,
All going their separate ways,
I didn't want to leave school
Today of all days.
Everyone is yelling,
"Come on, guys! School's out!"
But the tears just keep on coming,
I want to whine and shout.
"It isn't fair," I scream out loud,
"Don't leave me alone here."
But indeed, summer starts,
And I burst into tears.
School's out, scream and shout,
Get happy, get high,
Say goodbye to your many friends,
And, baby, start to cry.
