Lascivious Lady, Always Ready

by Soulful Ensemble   Aug 13, 2007

Lascivious Lady, always ready
For whatever man may come.
You wear your pretty dresses,
And you paint your face with scorn.

Lascivious Lady, always yearning,
To view the next debacle
And be free to refill your lust.
You never want your spirit to overflow.

Lascivious Lady, always right,
Looking for the sun at night.
And if you find it, and you might,
Then you will be quite selfish in your standing in the light.

Lascivious Lady, its always about you,
You want your men to wait around in rags
For the train that comes for you.
So they can go in your place to misery and gloom.

Lascivious Lady, always a beast of greed,
And a vessel for the idiocy you bleed.
You look lustfully into the dying eyes of men,
And never thank them for the time they spent
And will never get back, unless they repent.

Lascivious Lady, madness is always inside,
Your dying spirit makes your eyes cry.
You're a creature yearning pitty,
Secretly hoping lest it never comes.

Lascivious Lady, always coming and going,
But everybody knows you now.
You should stop returning--
Nobody needs you evermore!--
And if somebody did you wouldn't know.
