Yesterday the world was mine,
The rain didn't fall,
I found bliss filled moments,
Of which I didn't crawl,

Yesterday is gone,
But today will pass,
Yesterday is memory,
As I shatter into glass,

Today I've been kicked,
Today I just won't,
Today I might say goodbye,
Today I just don't,

My thoughts always wonder,
A trail of discontent,
A shutter of hoping,
But it's never what is meant,

Today I don't rest,
Today I won't lie,
Today I'm the sacrifice,
