The Risk

by Andrew Morton   Aug 17, 2007

From the beginning of time
we had the same thing in mind
we leave loneliness behind
with all we've come to find

but still we watch in awe
another heart starts to fall
but then we hear love's call
we end up forgetting it all

we hold our hearts in our hands
in hopes of the promised land
still giving in to love's demands
in which we don't understand

give everything that you have
so your heart can break in half
its not worth anything at all
if you're not risking to take the fall
