True Lover(Not)

by ryan   Apr 28, 2004

"But she loves me, she really does"
Oh? Then why does she hurt you.
Why does she manipulate your heart
And crush your feelings
Without the least concern?
"She's so faithful, she'd never leave me"
I see. So the guy at the movie
examining her throat with his tongue
And frisking her for concealed weapons
Was merely a friend, a platonic companion.
"She says I'm like no guy she's ever known"
Could that be because no other man
(no true man)
Has ever let her run him down
And be trampled on the ground
Quite like you?
"But...she's perfect"
Agreed! Perfectly evil,
Perfectly hateful,
Perfectly vain,
Perfectly loathsome.
"But...
...I guess...
...I love her?"
Well then, it's your problem
