Fade away

I wish my soul would fade away
Every day I sit, wish and pray
To fade into the dark of night
A spirit fading out of sight

I wish my body would drift and die
Away up in the midnight sky
Vanishing in amongst the cloud
Where I can reveal my sad shroud
