Til' My Head Rests In Blue

by Nowhere Man   Aug 22, 2007

White, smooth rosy white,
light suits on your skin so nice.
Ever hard to discover you are;
I wonder what's up in your life.

Night sings lullabies
but I am left making same old rhymes.
I'm on a trip, I can't fall into sleep
cause even when I close my eyes,

I can still see your face
and I'm sure I'll be stuck here for days
thinking about you
till my head rests in blue.

Pill, I don't need a pill
still I want everything to be real.
Smoking in ashes does a lot better;
It lulls me down without any harm.

Night has turned into dawn
but still I'm left with my mind holding on.
Lying like a creep I can't fall fast asleep
cause even when I close my eyes,

I still long for a trace
and I know I'll be missing your ways
as I look through you
till my head rests in blue.

Am I gonna wait for years
till I drop and break down?
I'm losing all of my time;
When can I make you mine?
