Through the Night

by Ryan   Aug 22, 2007

Walking through the dark,
turning around,
theres no one there,
but there IS a sound.

Turn the other way,
eyes full of fright,
keep on walking,
through the night.

You hear the sound again,
and turn once more,
looking for a face,
the blankness makes you sore.

Creeping through,
your head down low,
still trying to get
where you need to go.

Darkness takes a hold of you,
A shadow is bursting free,
My eyes are blind to it,
That shadow must be me....
