nothing could bring me down

I saw you for the first time in three years
and i had to fight back the tears

Seeing your wonderful blue eyes again
brought back a lot of joy and pain

All the time that has passed us by
knowing we've missed out on eachothers lives almost made me cry

Looking at you and feeling your warm embrace
was so wonderful, as was seeing your face

I remember thinking about how tall you got
you used to be way shorter than me i thought

Wondering what would happen and how things would go
