It is an amazing poem. It has great emotion and you can feel you're pain while reading it. I can't say that I'm going through the same thing. but I respect you for the choice you made in the end. I know some people that wouldn't have done that, and I regret to say I'm probly one of them. anyways, amazing poem, keep writing.

I thought this poem was brilliant, it makes it better because it has personal meaning, yout pain so clear, but also how your so understanding and commited to him makes it all the more better....it will never change i hope you have found happier days now...brilliant

This poem is.....extremely touching. I'm sorry you had to experience this, hun. it's very beautiful and inspirational. the ending would definitely inspire me to get out of any situation like that...it shows strength and a glimmer of hope...

^^ this stanza gave me goose bumps...those last two lines are just so sick. sorry, but they just are disgusting...twisted. wonderful job putting it into words.

and when i looked at my phone, i just knew it was you

i know we said we could last forever
but now im thinking this may just be through
dont get me wrong i did say "i love you"
and to this day that holds true
but im sorry youve left all these reminders in the form of bruises
