The night it was over...

The night I knew that we were through
I didn't want to know
The effects that it would have on her
Or the pain that she would show

I knew I had let it go to long
And we shouldn't have started again
When I looked into my heart
And knew I couldn't pretend

To not be bothered by our differences
The things that we don't share
I knew we had some things in common
But now I just don't care

To see this keep on going further
With my one true fear
To know that you would see me
Without a stutter, without a tear:

It's over.

    I like it.
    It is very easy to read and understand, but you sould add more to it to give more a view.
