I Tried

Do u know how hard I tried
Tried to kill myself

The first time was when i was 10
I was sitting in my mothers room with a razor blade
And then i thought would it hurt if i cut myself
Home alone who would know but then the phone rang
Stopped me...at least until the next time

I was 12 years old
I show it on TV so why not try it
Take a knife and cut your throat it seems as if it would hurt
But its better then living this horrid life
I took the knife placed it to my neck and then
The doorbell rang
Then again it stopped me until the next time

Two weeks later the shot yourself with a gun
Hey sounds fine with me lets try it
Its one way to get out of this life
I placed the gun in my mouth and as i got ready to pull the trigger
My cell phone rang

There was no getting out of life for me
God must have a purpose for me
Because every time i tried i had a distraction
And now I live a happy normal life and haven't tried that ever again

*I HAVE NEVER TRIED TO KILL MYSELF I ENJOY LIFE BUT SOMETIMES IT DOES GET ROUGH I JUST TRY AND WORK EVERYTHING OUT AND LIFE ALWAYS DOES WORK OUT IN SOME WAY SHAPE OR FORM*
