Heavy tears...

The rain is coming down.
Down, down, down on my eyes.
They feel like heavy tears.

My cheeks are hot and red.
I'm flushed like I've been caught.
So guilty, the way I look.

My legs hurt from running so hard.
Chased each every day and night.
Never gonna go back.

The wind cools my skin.
Like winter on a desert.
Like snow in Hell.

My heart is gone to Heaven.
My soul sad with pain, and pains.
Dark clouds, each and every one.

My hands grasp at nothing.
I thought you were there.
Why didn't you follow me?

I don't want to breathe.
It all hurts so much inside.
Choking is almost a reprieve.

It will all end...now.
I want it all to end...to stop.
Why can't it all just end?
