My family, or lack there of, is different

by HollywoodSmile   Aug 25, 2007

The shining light upon their faces

the way they feel as if in their places

the love within their smile

even when separated, mile by mile

the feeling you get when you enter their house

this is all so strange to me

this is not what I'm used to being

nor what i remember seeing

i do not belong in this place

mine does not belong among their faces

they can laugh and tease

i hide what i don't want them to see

that is them

and this

is me
