One or the Other

I want them both but I can't have them both
I was so sure he was the one and now i don't know what to do
There's no way I could leave him, he's my best friend
I can tell him anything and know he'll be there for me
However, is there a chance someone else could do that too?
I know I love him but if that's really true why do I have this problem before me?
They both make me smile, they both make me laugh...
they both care about me
We could keep it like this
One as just a friend and one as so much more
But what if...
What'll my life be like in ten years?
If I go with one will I be wondering what my life would have been like with the other?
It's only high school though
The choices we make aren't going to matter right?
Maybe if I continue to tell myself this I'll believe it
Everyone tells you to follow your heart and it will tell you what to do
But what if your heart is just as divided as the rest of you?
