Run Away

by Bryan Berry   Aug 27, 2007

Run Away

A screaming voice
Some scowling eyes
One bad choice
And she found the lies

A tear on a cheek
A newly grayed heart
I feel so weak
It didn't even start

I had to get away
Had to run away
From my sins
Run away
From the broken heart

Couldn't take it
Not prepared
Some bad shit
I'm not spared

So I fled (I fled)
I ran away (From her)
I couldn't take it (I must pay)
I should've paid (For my sins)

I had to get away
Had to run away
From my sins
Run away
From the broken heart

And here I am
All alone
I am damned
Afraid of a phone
But I got
Away
From what
I
Deserved
