Two Sides of Me

There are two sides of me
One or the other you'll always see
See never both, but only one
The one you don't I'll always shun

One is happy, frivolous, and full of fun
With the other I do things that should never be done
Good is rare, but always a treat
Bad is common, and will be my defeat

Anime, friends, and joy all around
Dark things that will never be found
Smiles, laughs, and times of glee
Lies, deceit, and horror inside of me

Frilly skirts and awesome shoes
The Gothic look I usually choose
To everyone I usually show
A smiling face with a glow

But deep down inside
Are the things that I hide

Things that rip, shred, and tear at me
These constant urges that will always be
And in the end you'll only see
This fake smile that's now destroyed me
