What Smart Little Humans We Are!

by Kira   Aug 28, 2007

As the dust settles
And all in the world is lost,
Our Earth is in ruin,
A pricey little cost.

Screams still in echo,
From ancients ago.
The fires still burn.
The rivers do not flow.

Now, with the eyes
That will never see again:
Look to where the sun used to rise,
And wish upon a fallen star that humans will never again surmise.

Destruction for nothing,
Yet made to be all.
The signs were all there,
But nobody answered Gods call.

Look at what you've done,
You pathetic creature of "heart"
Look and tell me why
It is you that is smart!
