You were never there

by Christina Famili   Aug 28, 2007

Your were never there for me
you never gave me company when I was lonely or bored
You act like you see through me
But you always left me rejected and ignored
I've wasted my breath for prayers
What you said, it was never true
it was all just a lie
It feels as though you turned your back
and left me in the cold
my heart feels like its been tattered and torn
and no way to heal
why god, why?
don't you feel pity for this lost soul
Whose been hurt, mentally, abused, and lied to?
I just wish for once, you could care
But no, you were never there

But no, you were never there.

    That line is my favorite.
And once again, it reminds me of my fathers and mine relationship (or should I say lack of).
