When You Look In The Mirror

by Hugh Coffey   Sep 2, 2007

Come and let me show you what I see when I look at you.
I see a beautiful woman, who can be anything she wants to.
Someone who has no fear and will be there when times get tough.
Who knows when to stand her ground, even though, she may seem rough.
I see someone who is gentle, caring, loving and warm,
With the softest eyes, and most irresistible charm.
When I look at you, my dear, I cannot help but grin.
I see you with my heart, in a light that is not dim.
I see someone that's perfect, because my feelings allow
To not see imperfections, and who that you are now.
You are the most amazing, and oh so full of surprise.
You are very talented, and with that, you will rise.
You are oh so wonderful, and oh so very sweet.
I care for you so much, I love all that you entreat,
Angel that you are, no one can change that,
No matter what you do, no matter where you're at
If only you could see, what you hold inside.
You are not one to boast, or to show your pride,
Every moment spent with you makes me care much more.
You are a precious Angel, even God does so adore.
You are my hearts desire, my one and only dear,
The one who stole my heart, you complete me, when you are near
And nothing you can do, can possibly change my mind.
I would give to you the world, you are a one of a kind,
You're worth all the riches in this world, and so much more.
I wouldn't change a single thing, because you I do adore.
Anyone who doesn't like you, is truly missing out,
Because you are a terrific person, of this I have no doubt.
I just wish you could see the perfection I see in you.
When you look in the mirror, please see you as I do.
