An Early Goodbye

She woke up knowing today would be the day,
No longer will she have to hide her tears away,
She can no longer find a real reason to stay,
Everything she once was has faded away.
It was never supposed to be this way!

She wants nothing to do with your lies,
Her heart is gone, It has already died,
She still smiles even though all she does is cry,
And its only a boy that is the reason why.

You have no idea how many times she has tried,
To over come the feelings that live inside,
She just wanted you to know that you were her life,
So she raised the gun and said goodbye
