To Them

We all still can not believe you all are over there still

you all have risked so much to keep us safe.

You have died for one another you have died for us, you have been held captive, went nights and days without sleeping and eating,

You all have worked so hard without fleeting,

You have noticed that you are loosing support from us over here,

and we do not know how, all of this, you can bare.

We all just wish all of you were here safe like us,

we all will pray for you to come home safe soon,

this is just a side of me.

The real killers are there fighting for the ungrateful peoples freedom,

they do not even want that and that has to hurt.

But you're still fighting to protect us,

Just to keep us safe risking your own lives everyday,

we do not even know what all you go through,

we ignore the pain we do not understand,

and ignore the people we don't know,

but heres a reminder that you are not yet forgotten,

there are still people here that care,

so keep up the good work,

it is really appreciated,

we may not be completely free,

But thanks to you we still have our rights.
