Lost Lover

Please come back to be with me,
We are supposed to be together for eternity.
I have always loved you, you and no other,
you are and were my only lover.

At the very least you could take me with you,
i know this is something you could do.
See i could organise all the travel,
All you do is meet me on arrival.

Baby i just need an escape,
for this life has given me all i can take.
I don't understand why i have to stay,
and you always seem to be so far away.

Every day there are things i miss,
your laugh, your smile, your sweet kiss.
But you went away, God called for you,
I often prayed he would take me too.

I guess i must wait till my time is through,
And every day i still miss you.
We will meet again, for you are my lover,
i told you, i love you, you and no other.

**Just want to make it clear, i promise I'm not about to do anything stupid. You just get down sometimes then pick yourself back up. Please let me know what you think, i appreciate good and bad comments as always**

    I have moved on from this, but not forgotten and sometimes you just get to thinking, and then i write and feel all better. Leave your poor boy alone ha ha!!

    What a heartbreaking poem. Losing a love is one of the hardest things to get over, because when you think you have, the tiniest thing brings it all flooding back.
    Glad to see it hasn;t affected your writing though!
