Feeling All Alone

I want so much to hold you
But doing it feels so hard
You seem a little distant
So safe behind your guard

And even though your with me
I feel so all alone
And my safest way of contact
Is to text it all by phone

I do not wish to cause you stress
You are too busy I can see
But what I really need from you
Is for some special time with me

Please don't think I'm selfish
Or crack the shits and leave
I've just really, really missed you
And still my heart will grieve...

    Another terrific write, follows a very nice structure and the flow is flawless. Such a painful piece, full of anguish and heartache.

    I can only find one small thing lacking, and its a shame - the very last line ..

    "And still my heart feels grieve..."

    It should either be ..

    "And still my heart feels grief" or
    "And still my heart will grieve"

    Another heartfelt and truly touching piece.
