Giving Hope

Inspired by the sunshine,
A heart I'll find to warm,
A desolate soul in need of help,
To weather out this storm,

I'll give my love so they may see,
The world has not turned cold,
I'll use my arms to hold them tight,
Their pain wont be untold,

I will not judge the things I hear,
Or the destruction I do see,
I'll do my best to make it known,
They are important to me,

I'll tell them of the single soul,
That dwells within us all,
Each being is connected,
Though some ignore the call,

I'll let them see the love I felt,
I'll let them touch my pain,
I'll tell them just how bad I'd feel,
To never feel again,

Bumps and bruises come in life,
Sometimes our spirits shatter,
But it is the trials in our time,
That teach us what does matter.
