Why is it him who is always on your mind day and night?
why is it him you long for when you know in your heart it can't be right?

why is it him that you want so badly but you know you deserve more?
why is it him that has you questioning and making you so unsure?

why is it him who is beginning to influence you in ways so hard to explain?
why is it him you let your impatient feelings fall on, and now they are to blame?

why is it him that has you thinking things over?
why is it him who has you wishing on every star, 11:11, and four leaf clover?

why is it him that has you seeing life in a whole new way?
why is it him that has you acting and thinking in different ways?

why is it him that makes you search for these answers, just wanting to know?
why is it him that has nothing to say, no answers to show?
