Trust in Yourself

by Lost Soul 691   Sep 14, 2007

If I could articulate all the words
in an appropriate manner
And if one could focus on
what they truly denote
Then I would

For in them one may unearth
assured salvation
inimitable hope
methodical direction
unerring peace

But you don't pause long
before changing terrain
and closing your ears
to the truth
to the pain
so I can't

Not everything in life hurts
if you open yourself up
Let the emotions wash over
and cleanse away
the sorrow
and anguish

For the years will be long
and lonely
when one keeps seeking
and hiding in the sins
of the flesh

Trust in yourself
as others do
in you

Perhaps she is waiting
within the rooms
of the mighty
Oil King

Let not her eyes see
Let not her ears hear
Until change revolves
Lest her heart be hurt

    I like the message given.

Trust in yourself. Build self confidence and a higher self esteem.

    My favorite:
    Let not her eyes see
    Let not her ears hear
    Until change revolves
    Lest her heart be hurt
