Remember back in preschool
He picked flowers just for you
Pushed you on the swing set
& shared his play dough with you too
He held your hand in line up
Built you castles in free play
Slept next to you at nap time
& kissed you goodbye at the end of the day
He came over on Saturdays
& made cakes with you out of dirt
helped you climb the tallest tree
& made sure you didn't get hurt
Looking up from down below
Your up so high he has to yell
But remember how even way back then
He promised he'd catch you if you fell
