Illusion

by Ryan   Sep 18, 2007

As the sunlight hits the grass,
and the day olds,
I'm laying here,
bones chilling cold.

With all the people,
and all the cars,
starring at the sky,
waiting for the stars.

The clouds move away,
and the sun fades.
The sky darkens,
and just one star stays.

They say "Make a wish...
on the first star you see."
I wished that madness
will never be.

Then I here the sirens,
and I was right.
Dreams are fake,
as it dawns into night.

All the terror,
it hasn't left.
It's still here,
including theft.

I'm lying here,
Lost in confusion.
Trying to find a way,
to concur this illusion...
