The World.

by SmileeItsBritt   Sep 21, 2007

The world is a speck in the universe,
Which makes us seem miniscule.
Most take life for granted,
An idea of which has become habitual.
The world cries out for innocence
In pain from all the weight it carries.
Desiring relief from all its life
With a dream for everyone to be treated fairly.
We don't take the world for what it's worth
A brilliant, shining star
A land of hope and dreams and wishes
Given no matter who or where you are.
Such a special place the world is
Even though sometimes it's all a whirl.
The world may make you seem miniscule,
But to someone, somewhere, you mean THE WORLD.
