The Unknown Friends

by Indian Comma Bean   Sep 22, 2007

A dream emerges in the midst of my mind,
All shrouded in black but a flicker of white,
Nine heads all bowed to a force divine,
All but one whose heart is still.

Kept in a box hard as rind,
This boy who died for reasons
unknown.
He died in sin and lived in darkness.

Pressured by people who were not his
friends,
He tried drugs and alcohol
When neither appealed.

He dressed in black
With chains and hooks all down the side,
They pressured him to one last thing,
Let's just say his fists were clenched.

Now put to rest,
He's found his peace,
Put in the coffin all in white,
But everyone wonders why he died with,

A smile on his face....
And that long till we realize,
This isn't a dream,
It's reality...

And to this day,
The culprits they seek
And every day for them is a living hell
Till they find the people known simply as...

The Unknown Friends.
