You will not be forgotten

by Indian Comma Bean   Sep 22, 2007

Too die today
is lost tomorrow,
Too mourn tonight
is forgotten at dawn.

If killed by a bullet
or be it a car,
who would be there
at the Their wake.

They wish to see one
if no one else,
The one they loved
so They can look down

And smile...

But who would notice
who would cry,
who would applaud
that They had died.

Too the ones
that remember,
Too the ones that cried
They tell you this.

You will not be forgotten

Too the ones that live
Too the ones yet to die,
live everyday,
with a smile to say:

You will not be forgotten
